Zengid-Crusader War
Years: 1127 - 1174
The Crusader’s war with the Zengids begins when Zengi assumes the rule of Aleppo in 1128 and ends when his son Nur ad-Din, the ruler of Aleppo and Damascus, dies in 1174.
Though the Zengids are technically Seljuqs, they represent a menace to the Crusader states in their own right.
