Sioux Wars
Years: 1854 - 1891
The Sioux Wars are a series of conflicts between the United States and various subgroups of the Sioux people that occur in the latter half of the 19th century.
The earliest conflict comes in 1854 when a fight breaks out at Fort Laramie in Wyoming, when Sioux warriors kill several American soldiers in the Grattan Massacre, and the final comes in 1890 during the Ghost Dance War.
