Silla–Tang Wars
Years: 670 - 676
The Silla-Tang War occurs in the 7th century between the Korean kingdom of Silla and the Chinese Tang Dynasty and begins in the geopolitical context immediately following the Goguryeo–Tang War.
Rather than a formal war, it proves to be more of a series of military engagements between the two powers, formerly allies, with each side attempting to secure its gains from the Goguryeo-Tang War.This victory for Silla, and the maintenance of Silla's independence, is generally regarded as a critical turning point in Korean history.
