Years: 750 - 1539
Medieval India refers to the Post classical Era, i. e,.
eighth to eighteenth century CE in the Indian subcontinent.
It is divided into two periods: The 'early medieval period' which lasts from the eighth to the thirteenth century and the 'late medieval period' which lasts from the thirteenth to the eighteenth century in some definitions, though many end the period with the start of the Mughal Empire in 1526.
