Fariskur, Battle of

The Battle of Fariskur is the last major battle of the Seventh Crusade.
It is fought on April 6, 1250, between the Crusaders led by King Louis IX of France (later Saint Louis) and Egyptian forces led by Turanshah.
The result is the complete defeat of the crusader army and the capture of Louis IX.
