Davidian Revolution
Years: 1124 - 1153
The Davidian Revolution is a term given by many scholars to the changes that take place in the Kingdom of Scotland during the reign of David I of Scotland (1124-1153).
These include his foundation of burghs, implementation of the ideals of Gregorian Reform, foundation of monasteries, Normanization of the Scottish government, and the introduction of feudalism through immigrant French and Anglo-French knights.
