Autun, Siege of

In 356, Roman Emperor Julian the Apostate receives a report that Augustodunum (Autun) is under attack by a group of Alamanni and that as a result of the poor state of repair of the walls, the city is in danger of falling.

He marches to Autun and relieves the siege.
