Yuan Shu
Chinese warlord
Years: 155 - 199
Yuan Shu (died 199) is a warlord during the late Han Dynasty era of Chinese history.
He rises to prominence following the collapse of the imperial court in 189.
He is said to be a younger cousin of the warlord Yuan Shao, but is actually Yuan Shao's younger half-brother.
After the death of He Jin, he leads a force to slay the eunuchs as the Imperial Corps Commander of the Imperial Tiger Guards, which is located just outside the capital.
Later, he participates in an alliance against Dong Zhuo led by Yuan Shao.
After the dissension of this alliance, he is never on good terms with Yuan Shao again until his final moments.
