Sultan Husayn (also known as Soltan Hosayn and Soltan Hosein) (born ?1668; died 1726; reigned 1694–1722) is a Safavid king of Iran (Persia).

He rules from 1694 until he is overthrown in 1722 by Shah Mahmud Hotaki, an Afghan warrior of Pashtun ethnic background.

His reign sees the downfall of the Safavid dynasty, which has ruled Persia since the beginning of the 16th century.
