Quintus Caecilius Metellus Balearicus (b. c. 170 BCE) is a son of Quintus Caecilius Metellus Macedonicus.
He is a Consul in 123 BCE and a Censor in 120 BCE, dominates Sardinia and conquers the Balearic Islands - for which he earns his cognomen and the honors of Triumph - establishing at Palma and Pollentia two colonies of 3,000 Romans and Iberians.
