Poppaea Sabina (after CE 63 known as Poppaea Augusta Sabina) (30–65) and sometimes referred to as Poppaea Sabina the Younger to differentiate her from her mother of the same name, is a Roman Empress as the second wife of the Emperor Nero.
Prior to this she was the wife of the future Emperor Otho.
The historians of antiquity describe her as a beautiful woman who used intrigues to become empress.
