Paulinus
bishop of Antioch
Years: 310 - 381
Paulinus is a claimant to the See of Antioch from 362 to 388.
He is supported by members of the Eustathian party, and is a rival to Meletius of Antioch.
The Eustathians object to Miletius having been consecrated by Arians, and have begun to meet separately.
Lucifer of Calaris ordains Paulinus as bishop, thus effecting a schism in the orthodox church.
