King of Prome

Narapati of Prome (died 1539) is king of Prome from 1532 to 1539.
He seizes the throne after his father Bayin Htwe is taken captive by the Confederation of Shan States in 1532 back to Upper Burma.
Bayin Htwe escapes after the Confederation's leader Sawlon is assassinated by his ministers, and returns to Prome (Pyé), c. May 1533, but Narapati shuts the gates against his father, who soon dies in the adjoining forest.
