Nabopolassar (c. 658 BCE - 605 BCE) is the king of Babylonia and plays a key role in the demise of the Assyrian Empire following the death of the last powerful Assyrian king, Ashurbanipal.
He rules over Babylon for 20 years (625 - 605 BCE).
