Lysander (died 395 BCE) is a Spartan general who commands the Spartan fleet in the Hellespont which defeats the Athenians at Aegospotami in 405 BCE.
The following year, he is able to force the Athenians to capitulate, bringing the Peloponnesian War to an end; in the last decade of his life, he organizes the dominion of Sparta over Greece.
