Jehoshaphat

4th king of Judah
Years: 909BCE - 849BCE

Jehoshaphat (alternately spelled Jehosaphat, Josaphat, or Yehoshafat: " Jehovah has judged") is the fourth king of the Kingdom of Judah, and successor of his father Asa.

His children include Jehoram, who succeeds him as king.

His mother is Azubah.

Historically, his name has sometimes been connected with the Valley of Jehosaphat, where, according to Joel 3:2, the God of Israel will gather all nations for judgment.
