Years: 495 - 541
Ildibad (Sometimes rendered Hildebad or Heldebadus) (died 541) is a king of the Ostrogoths in Italy, being chosen to replace Witiges, who had been engaged in various intrigues with Belisarius, and had left Ravenna.
He moves his capital to Pavia in 540, conquers Treviso, installing his nephew Totila as commander, and soon controls Venetia and Liguria.
