Saint Hermenegild or Ermengild (d. April 13, 586) (Spanish: San Hermenegildo, from Gothic Ermen Gild, "immense tribute"), is a member of the Visigothic Royal Family in Hispania.
His martyrdom is a catalyst in the Visigoths' conversion from Arianism to the Nicene Creed ("Catholicism").
