Eucleidas reigns in Sparta from 227 BCE until 221 BCE.
He is an Agiad, son of Leonidas II, in the place of the Eurypontid king.
His brother, Cleomenes III, deposes his Eurypontid colleague Archidamus V, and installs his brother as his new co-ruler.
Eucleidas is killed fighting against the Macedonians at the Battle of Sellasia.
