Emperor Shao of Liu Song
emperor of the Chinese dynasty Liu Song
Years: 406 - 424
Emperor Shao of (Liu) Song (406–424), also known by his post-removal title Prince of Yingyang , personal name Liu Yifu, nickname Chebing, is an emperor of the Chinese dynasty Liu Song.
He is the oldest son of the founding emperor, Emperor Wu, and becomes emperor after his father's death in 422.
The officials that his father leave in charge of the government become convinced that he is unfit to govern, and so depose and kill him in 424, making his more-capable younger brother Liu Yilong emperor (as Emperor Wen).
