Chaim Azriel Weizmann (November 27, 1874 – November 9, 1952) is a Zionist leader, President of the Zionist Organization, and the first President of the State of Israel.
He is elected on February 1, 1949, and serves until his death in 1952.
Weizmann is also a chemist who develops the ABE-process, which produces acetone through bacterial fermentation.
He founds the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel.
