Apollodorus of Athens (born ca.
180 BCE, died after 120 BCE) son of Asclepiades, is a Greek scholar and grammarian.
He is a pupil of Diogenes of Babylon, Panaetius the Stoic, and the grammarian Aristarchus of Samothrace.
He leaves, or flees, Alexandria around 145 BCE, most likely for Pergamum, and eventually settlsd in Athens.
