Andrey Osterman

Count Andrey Ivanovich Osterman (June 9, 1686 – May 31, 1747) is a German-born Russian diplomat who comes to prominence under Tsar Peter I of Russia (Peter the Great) and serves until the accession of the Tsesarevna Elizabeth.
His foreign policy is based upon the Austrian alliance.
He is General Admiral in 1740; dismissed in 1741.
