Alexander II of Russia (April 29 [O.S.April 17], 1818, Moscow – March 13 [O.S. March 1], 1881, Saint Petersburg), also known as Alexander the Liberator, is the Emperor of Russia from March 2, 1855 until his assassination in 1881.

He is also the King of Poland and the Grand Prince of Finland.
