Aleksei Ilyich Chirikov (1703 – November 1748) is a Russian navigator and captain who along with Bering is the first Russian to reach the northwest coast of North America.

He discovers and chartssome of the Aleutian Islands while he is deputy to Vitus Bering during the Great Northern Expedition.
