Selonians are a tribe of Baltic peoples.
The Selonians live until the 15th century in Selonia, located in southeastern Latvia and northeastern Lithuania.
They merge with neighboring tribes, contributing to the ethnogenesis of Latvians and Lithuanians.
They speak the Selonian language.Selonians are Eastern Balts, but very little is known about them.
Scanty archaeological and historic data determines that this region is often characterized as a "scarcely populated land".
