Rustamid Dynasty of Algeria
Years: 761 - 909
The Rustamids (or Rustumids, Rostemids) are a dynasty of Ibāḍī Khawarij imāms of Iranian descent that rule the central Maghreb as a Muslim theocracy for a century and a half from their capital Tiaret (in modern Algeria) until the Ismaili Fatimid Caliphate destroys it.
Their realm extends to current central Algeria.
