In the 16th century BCE, the Minoans come to Rhodes.

Later Greek mythology recalls a Rhodian race called the Telchines, and associates the island of Rhodes with Danaus; it is sometimes nicknamed Telchinis.

In the 15th century BCE, Mycenaean Greeks invade.
