Pannonians

Years: 500BCE - 100

Pannonians (Latin: Pannonii) is a common name for a group of culturally similar tribes cognate to Illyrians, who inhabit the southern part of what is later known as the Roman province of Pannonia, south of the river Drava (Dravus), and the northern part of the future Roman province of Dalmatia.

The Pannonian tribes appear to have been Celticized.

Later a number of Pannonians settled in Dacia.
