The Mazrui are an Omani Arab clan that reigns over some areas of East Africa, especially Kenya, from the eighteenth to the twentieth century. In the eighteenth century they govern Mombasa and other coastal places and oppose the Omani Al Bu Sa'id Dynasty that rules over Zanzibar.
