Maghrawa (Zenata Berber tribe)

The Maghrawa or Meghrawa are a large Berber Zenata tribe originating from Algeria which historically dominates from Algiers through all over the mountainous Dahra region to western Algeria and at one time governs parts of Morocco, on behalf of the Umayyads of Córdoba, at the end of the 10th century and the first half of the 11th century.
