Its capital from 1450 is the city of Jodhpur.
Covering an area of 90,554 km2 (34,963 sq mi), Jodhpur State is the largest state under the Rajputana Agency.
Its last ruler signs the accession to join the Indian Union on April 7, 1949, and the state is formally dissolved on November 1, 1956.
