Carmona, Muslim statelet, or taifa, of

The Taifa of Carmona is a medieval taifa kingdom that exists for two distinct periods; first from 1013 to 1066 when it is conquered by the Taifa of Seville, and secondly from around 1143 to 1150 when it is finally conquered by the Almohads.

The taifa is created and ruled by the Zenata Berber Birzalid dynasty.
