Berg is a state—originally a county, later a duchy–in the Rhineland of Germany.

Berg's capital is Düsseldorf from 1280.

It exists as a distinct political entity from the early twelfth to the nineteenth centuries, sometimes in combination with Mark and Jülich, and sometimes only Jülich.
