The Banu Nadir are a Jewish tribe who live in northern Arabia until the 7th century at the oasis of Yathrib (now known as Medina).

The tribe challenges Muhammad as the leader of Medina and plans along with allied nomads to attack Muhammad and are expelled from Medina as a result.

The Banu Nadir then plan the battle of the Trench together with the Quraish.

They later participated in the battle of Khaybar.
