The Theme of the Aegean Sea is an East Roman (Byzantine) province in the northern Aegean Sea, established in the mid-ninth century.

As one of the Empire's three dedicated naval themes, it serves chiefly to provide ships and troops for the imperial navy, but also serves as a civil administrative circumscription.
