Several general meetings of the members are arranged to create a structure for the Catholic League.
The representatives of all the important Catholic states, except for Austria and Salzburg—and a great number of the smaller ones—meet on February 10, 1610, at Würzburg to decide the organization, funding and arming of the League, marking its real beginning.
The Pope, the emperor and the King of Spain, who have been informed by Maximilian, are all favorably disposed towards the undertaking.
